This is a 13′ x 13′ cedar framed tiki hut with a sable palm roof. Sitting over top a 12′ x 12′ deck, stepping up one step to another deck 40′ x 16′. The tiki hut has both fireproofing and netting to protect the leaves.
Under the tiki hut I have installed a 9′ x 6′ custom bar with 3/4″ oak plywood and manila rope edging, 9 coats of marine varnish on the ber tops, 14 electrical outlets for all the blenders, rope lighting, cable tv, ceiling fan, 2 sets of cabinets, lower bar top, shelf behind the bar, stereo system with 4 outdoor speakers (playing Jimmy Buffett of course), several pirate bottle openers around the bar and Pirate flag.
Total construction time was less than 2 weeks for both decks, and the tiki hut. This is definitely the neighborhood gathering spot.
